Currently, becoming a citizen of the Kingdom of Apiya is very simple and only requires you to click your way across a few pages and fill out a standard application form. Apiya as a new country project has much potential and requires educated and ambitious people to work on improving it. |

Politics and PrinciplesApiya is a constitutional monarchy, in transition from the former absolutist monarchy. The idea behind Apiya is to create a functioning and modern monarchy which is ruled by its people, instead of its sovereign. The power in the country relies on the system of checks and balances between the three branches of power: the executive, judicial and legislative. The motto of Apiya is libertá, egualitá, pacio or liberty, equality, peace, and along with preservation of the environment, those are the postulates of the Apiyan state. |
CultureThe biggest jewel of Apiyan culture is the Apiyan language which itself pre-dates Apiya. The Apiyan language is a constructed language based on Romance languages like Italian, Spanish, Slavic languages like Montenegrin, Macedonian, and the Old Apiyan language which is currently dead. The other cultural elements like music, art, cuisine are mostly based on other Slavic cultures but with many different people with many different cultures joining our community, this is becoming obsolete. |
